Welcome to Sweden

Welcome to the website of family Woods and our beautiful log cabins here in Småland south Sweden. We live in the middle of nature surrounded by forests with many lakes on a small farm. Here we have a few sheep and Highland cows plus our home and 3 log cabins. Visit us and enjoy the time in the middle of nature exploring the forests, cycling, walking, fishing, playing in our boats, swimming in the many lakes or simply doing nothing in the peace and quiet of our beautiful area. Björkebråten is located in southern Sweden and can be easily reached by car, plane or train . Nature invites you so to come and explore. We speak Swedish, German and English.

Log Cabins

A holiday dream – a vacation in a traditional log cabin! Our beautiful log cabins are traditionally built to a very high standard combined with modern kitchen and bathroom. A perfectly equipped kitchen, plenty of room for the family plus wifi tv log fire everything you need for a great holiday directly in nature. Surrounded by forest a few cows and sheep and our dam where you can catch rainbow trout (max 2 per cabin). More serious fishing is within a few minutes from us and we will be happy to help with permits and boats.

Activities

The region around the farm is perfect for all kinds of activities. Starting with cycling through nature on the many forest roads, walking in the woods, swimming in nearby lakes, picking mushrooms and blueberries, canoeing, fishing, strolling in small picturesque towns like Växjö, Karlshamn, Tingsryd and Karlskrona, and much more. Sweden presents itself here from the most beautiful and traditional way – experience Sweden up close! Björkebråten is located in the heart of Småland, making it an ideal starting point for excursions of all kinds.

Surroundings

The surrounding area around our farm is characterised by a variety of lakes such as the Åsnen, Mien and many other small lakes. The forest presents itself in its original guise and invites you to hike, ride a bicycle or collect mushrooms and berries. Many places of interest are nearby such as the Ikea Museum in Älmhult, cities on the Baltic Sea such as Ronneby, Karlshamn or Karlskrona. Björkebråten is the ideal starting point for all excursions.
